St Nicholas Pre-School has been part of the local community since 1976. We are a privately owned and managed setting offering places for up to 20 children per session, aged 2-5 years.
We are proud to be located close to the beautiful Hengistbury Head, providing a calm and natural environment that supports children's wellbeing and offers a wonderful backdrop to their early learning experiences.
At St Nicholas our ethos is built around Happy Hearts, Curious Minds and Confident Learners. We are committed to provide a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued and excited to learn.
Through a wide range of play-based learning opportunities, we help children develop confidence, independence and strong social skills while fostering a love of learning that will support them as they move on to school.
Our experienced team works in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to ensure every child is supported to reach their full potential.
We welcome children from all social and ethnic groups and we operate an equal opportunities policy for all admissions.
We offer 15 hours Government Funding for eligible 2 year old children.
We offer 30 hours Government Funding for 3 year old and 4 year old children. An additional charge of £2 per hour is asked for children who are funded. For non funded children, sessions Monday and Tuesday are £45 each, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are £30 each. Session Charges and Additional Charges are reviewed every year in March.
